Terms of use

1. What Befoo is

Befoo is a digital loyalty network: you create an account and use it to keep the stamp cards of the shops you join in one place. The cards, their stamps and their rewards belong to each shop; Befoo only provides the tool. For consumers it's free.

2. Your account

You need a valid email address (or a Google account). Your account is personal: your QR identifies you at any shop in the network, so don't share it.

3. Important: the shop gives the rewards

Each loyalty program belongs to the shop offering it, not to Befoo. The shop decides how stamps are earned, which reward it gives, when they expire and where they're valid; and it is solely responsible for honouring it.

If a shop doesn't give you the stamp or reward it promised, changes its rules, closes or stops using Befoo, your claim is with the shop. Its contact details are on its card and its page. Befoo is responsible for the platform working (your stamps being recorded and your cards being available), not for the commercial relationship.

When a shop leaves Befoo, it commits to honouring rewards already earned for 30 days. We'll tell you if it affects you.

4. Stamps and rewards

  • Stamps aren't money: they have no cash value and can't be sold or transferred.
  • Only the shop's staff can give stamps; you never stamp your own card.
  • If the shop says so, stamps expire through inactivity. We warn you 7 days before.

5. Notices

We tell you about your own things: stamps, rewards and expiry. A shop's promotions only reach you if you accept them for that shop, by push notification and by email (you choose the channel in Settings → Notices, and every email has its unsubscribe link), and you can switch them off any time from its card. Paying shops may also ask you for a Google review, through the same channels and with nothing in return.

6. Fair use

Befoo can't be used to deceive a shop, automate stamps, impersonate someone or interfere with the service. If we detect abuse we may suspend the account.

7. Changes and closing your account

We may change these terms; if the change matters we'll ask you to accept it when you log in. You can close your account whenever you want from My account: you'll lose all your stamps and pending rewards, and they can't be recovered.

8. Governing law

Spanish law applies. As a consumer, you can go to the courts where you live and to the European ODR platform.
